2019

OpenAI introduced GPT-2, a larger and more powerful model capable of generating coherent and contextually relevant text.

2020

OpenAI released GPT-3, with 175 billion parameters, significantly improving the model's ability to understand and generate human-like text.

2022

In Nov 2022, OpenAI launches ChatGPT, a fine-tuned version of GPT-3.5, making it available to the public as a research review.

In Mar 2023, OpenAI released GPT-4.
